MIKIPHONE

A speciality of the Swiss industry were the ultraportable disc phonographs or pocket models. The most common model is the Mikiphone and all the collectors I know today wish to have one for himself in her collection. This pocket model is probable the ever made. A clever arrangement and the great functionality allowed to keep all necessary parts in a case with an diameter of about 4" if closed.
The black celluloid soundbox consist of two parts. A additional record hold down clip is necessary to play larger records up to 10". Some different carrying pouches are known, if original equipment or home made?. The left and right models below pictured I had seen several times.

The machine was sold with a small needle tin. In most cases the tin is gone or in the hand of the tin collectors.
